WE OFFER SOLUTIONS FOR:
• Open water bioremediation
The careful selection of natural bacteria is used to consume slow-to-degrade organic compounds leading to the success of remediating small and large ponds, lakes, and rivers. All products are non-toxic, non-caustic, biodegradable, non-pathogenic and compliant with environmental regulations.
• Food and beverage waste
Solutions for the bioremediation of waste from the food and beverage industries. Waste is treated using a three-phase approach. Dewatering the waste. Treat the solids using microbials to increase the rate of decomposition and enhance composting efficiency. Water effluent is treated anaerobically and aerobically and can be used once again for irrigation or wash water.
• Sewage and grey water
Turnkey solutions are offered. Submerged fixed- film aerated solutions or Membrane Reactor solutions are used depending on the application needed. Both systems reduce sludge, smell, and reduce CODs, BODs, and suspended solids.
• Abattoir waste
Specific technologies are used to treat the waste in the red meat and poultry industries. Our solution makes use of microbials to increase the breakdown rates of hydrocarbons, mercaptans and fogs. It significantly reduces sludge generation and improves the nitrification and denitrification process. The microbials decrease the effluent waste and eliminate odours.
• Microbial treatment of manure, sludge, and oxidation ponds
Microbials and oxidation methods are used to treat manure slurry ponds for the poultry, swine, and cattle industries. This solution is very effective for treating oxidation ponds that form part of municipal waste treatment systems. Where effluent from the pond is used as fertiliser.
• Water harvesting
Rainwater can be harvested, treated and stored in tanks, reservoirs, dams and bladders for reuse as potable water, irrigation and daily basics. Design of the system is customised to meet the required water quality standards.
• Water filtration
Conventional filtration technologies are used to treat a range of water sources such as boreholes, sub-surface springs, dams, rivers, industrial processes, rain, and sea water. These include sand, AFM and particle filters, carbon filters, membrane filters (UF, RO and other), disinfection (UV and ozone) and water softeners and clarifiers. Plant configurations are available in a range of custom installations, skid- mounted and containerised options.
• Cold and hot water storage
A range of high-quality tanks and reservoirs for rural, domestic, commercial, and industrial applications. Storage runs from five hundred litres to two million litres, with a range of dimensions to suit space constraints. These include roto moulded tanks, fibreglass tanks, zinc- aluminium with inner liner reservoirs and DamsakTM.
• Dam liners and flotation covers
We provide a turnkey solution for the construction and installation of dam liners for earth dams, ponds, canals and reservoirs used to contain water, sludge, fertilisers and wastewater. Geotextiles are installed as an under-layer where soil conditions require protection of the dam liner, while made-to-fit floatation covers reduce evaporation and algae growth. Typical applications include farm dams, wastewater treatment works, landfill sites and mining applications. Installation meets AIGI and SANS requirements and all seams are non-destructive seam tested.
